Michal Morris has played a key role in Victorian policies and programs that support diversity for more than 10 years. As executive manager of the Centre for Culture, Ethnicity & Health, she oversees three programs that provide specialist resources and training to service providers, and work with migrant and refugee communities on culturally sensitive health issues.
Prior to this, she worked on multicultural policy within the Department of Human Services and managed the engagement portfolio for the Office of Women's Policy, which was responsible for events such as the Victorian Premier's Women's Summit and the Women's Health and Wellbeing Forum. Michal has a Masters of Communication and has worked as a radio broadcaster for the ABC and a trainer for the National Ethnic Media Broadcasting Council.
